Opening the computer Before removing any panels or c overs , please make sure to shut off the computer and un plug the po wer cord from the outlet.
8 English Acer eRecovery Acer eR ecovery is a tool to quic kly backup and restore the system. Users can create and save a backup of the current system configuration to hard drive, CD, or DVD.
9 English Restore from backup Users can restore backup previously cr eated (as stated in the Create backup section) from hard drive, CD, or DVD. 1 Boot to Windows XP. 2 Press < Alt >+< F10 > to open the Acer eRecovery utility. 3 Enter the passwor d to proceed.
