IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION About this Alarm This combination alarm has separate sensors to detect smoke and carbon monoxide (CO). The smoke alarm has priority over the CO alarm. The combination smoke/CO alarm is designed to be used in ordinary indoor locations of single-family households only.

Page 8 BACKUP BA TTER Y REPLACEMENT This alarm uses a 9 Volt Alkaline battery. The battery should last for at least one year under normal operating conditions. The alarm has a low battery indicator, an audible "beep." It will operate at 30- 40 second intervals for a minimum of 7 days.
