Introduction Congratulations on purchasing T ranscend’ s Wi-Fi SD card that instantly adds wireless capability to your digital camera so that you can wirelessly stream digita l photos and videos to your iPad, iPhone, Android, and other W i-Fi enabled devices.

Inst alling the Wi-Fi SD A pp Develo ped specif ically f or iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android devices, the free to download W i-Fi SD App allows y ou to wirelessly browse and dow nload photos and videos stored on the W i- Fi SD card, and customiz e wireless network settings.
Connecting to the Wi-Fi SD Card using iOS and A n droid De v i ces T o wirelessly access W i- Fi SD card digital content on your iOS/Android device, you must first connect to the W i-Fi SD card’s dedicate d wireless network.

Using the Wi-Fi SD A pp on iOS De v ice s W he n your iOS device and Wi-Fi SD card are connected wirelessl y in Dir ect Share or Internet Mode (via Internet hotspo t or smartphone personal hotspo t), you can browse content using the W i-Fi SD App.
First T ime Quick Setup W he n the Wi-Fi SD App is launched for the first time while connected in Direct Share mode, the Quick Setup W izard w ill appear and guide y ou thr ough the W i-Fi SD setup process.
Brow se Vie wing Photos 1. From the W i-Fi SD App home p age, tap Bro wse . 2. Under Photos , selec t the desired photo to displ ay . 3. Use your finger to sw ipe sideways through each p hoto as a slideshow or go back to the file list and sele ct the next desired photo.
Play i ng V ideos 1. From the W i-Fi SD App home p age, tap Bro wse . 2. Under V ideos , select the desired v ideo to view , it will play automatically .
Downloading File s to Y our iOS Device The W i-Fi SD App allows you t o select multiple f iles to download to the App f older for playback when not connected to the W i-Fi SD card’s w ireless network. 1. From the file list, t ap the Select but ton. 2.
The Wi-Fi SD App also f eatures a function menu that allows you to download individual f iles to the App Folder or to the iOS device camera roll. 1. From the file list, t ap the photo you want to download.
Switch bet w een Wi-Fi SD/Local Mode T ap the button at the bot tom-right of the folder dir ectory to switch between W i-Fi SD and local mode. Any files downloaded to the iOS dev ice using t he Do w nload T o A pp Folder function are s tored in the local directory .
Uploading Pho to Directl y to Facebook Note: Y ou must be a registered Faceboo k user and have the Faceboo k App instal led on your iOS device to use this function. (Requires iOS Facebook App v5.0.1, or later) 1. T o upload a photo on Fa cebook, tap the desired photo from the file li st.
Emailing a Photo f rom Wi-Fi SD 1. T o email a photo, tap the desired photo from the file list. 2. T ap t he share button and t hen tap Email . The file you selected will automatically be attached to the email d raft. 3. Input the recipient’ s email address , subject line, and any desired email body text.

Using the Wi-Fi SD A pp on Android Devices W he n your Android device and W i-Fi SD card are connected wirelessly in Direct Share or Internet M ode (via Internet hot spot or smartphone pe rsonal hotspo t), you can browse content using the W i-Fi SD Ap p.

Switch Conn ection Mode W hile connected via Direct Share or Int ernet Mode, the W i-Fi SD app allows you to easily swi tch W i-Fi connection modes. 1. T ap t he connection mode you would like to change to and t ap A ppl y . The new W i-F i SD connection mod e will take ef fect immediately .
Direct Share Settin gs T o configure basic w ireless settings, tap Direc t Share Settings . W P A2 wireless security is enabled by default ( Default Key ‘ 12345678 ’). It is recommended that you change t he default SSID and Key to dif ferentiate your W i-Fi SD card from others that may be transmitting in your a rea.
Internet Mode Setting s T o enable the W i-Fi SD card to connec t to the Internet throu gh an Internet hotspo t, tap Internet Mode Settings . The Wi-Fi SD card can sav e the details o f up to 3 Internet hot spots. W hen in range, the W i-Fi SD card w ill connect to one of the available hot spots in orde r of priority , starting with Hot spot 1.
Set A dministrator Password This function allow s you to set an administrator u sername and passw ord to prevent unauthorized users from changing any W i-Fi SD card settin gs. Security settings on iOS device Security settings on Android dev ice 1. From the Settings menu tap Security Settings .
