6104 BCF5 R06 Page 5 Combustion air supply The burner requires combustion air and ventilation air for reliable operation. Assure that the building and/or com- bustion air openings comply with National Fire Protec- tion Standard for Oil-Burning Equipment, NFP A 31.

Page 12 6104 BCF5 R06 Star t the Bur ner Do not attempt to start the burner when excess oil has accumulated in the appliance, the appliance is full of vapor , or when the combustion chamber is very hot. Do not attempt to re-establish fl ame with the burner running if the fl ame becomes extinguished during start- up, venting, or adjustment.
