3. POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance has a polarized plug, (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way . If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.

6. Instr uctions For T oast (cont.) 4. Center food on rack and set the timer to the desired toast shade. This will start the toast cycle. The power light will come on. 5. The unit shuts off automatically when the cycle is complete. The power light will go off.
7. Hints For T op Brown ◆ For a darker color set the timer for additional time to restart the cycle. W atch until desired color is achieved and tur n timer of f manually . ◆ T op Brown may be used to top brown bagels, English muf fins or melt cheese on sandwiches or casseroles.
