4 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The BBE 882i is a dual channel, single rack space device for use in +4dBu balanced line applica - tions. Each of the two independent channels has a Lo Contour control, Process control and a 5 segment LED output level meter .
FRONT P ANEL CONTROLS LED DISPLA Y : The LED display is used to indicate the output signal level of the BBE 882i. 6 REAR P ANEL CONNECTIONS AC POWER CORD INLET : Plugs into AC power receptacle. U.S., Canada and Japan Models, 100-120V ac, 50/60Hz. All other models, 220~240V ac, 50/60Hz. FUSE: Insert a at blade screwdriver into the fuse holder located in the bottom portion of the AC Power Cord inlet.
MAIN OUTPUTS POWER AMP 7 LIVE APPLICA TION: NON-POWERED MIXER Connect the BBE 882i to the output of the mixing console. The output of the BBE will drive either a crossover or a power amplier directly .
8 LIVE APPLICA TION: POWERED MIXER PWR AMP IN PRE AMP OUT MAIN OUT TIP/RING/SLEEVE (TRS) INSERT POINT ON MAIN OR INDIVIDUAL CHANNELS There are a couple of ways to congure the BBE 882i into a powered mixer . The ideal method would be into “Pre-Amp Out/Power Amp In” section of the console.
9 MUL TI-TRACK T APE RECORDER OR DA W INPUT KEYBOARD OR OTHER INSTRUMENT MIXER RECORDING The BBE 882i can be utilized in the recording studio on individual instrument s of on groups on instruments to improve the sound quality .
MASTERING DECK - DA T , CASSETTE, REEL-TO-REEL, DA W , ETC. MUL TI-TRACK RECORDER - CASSETTE, REEL-TO-REEL, DA W MIXER MASTERING OR DUBBING Use the BBE 882i for mastering the recording. Even if the BBE Process has been used on indi - vidual tracks, an improvement on the total mix will be noticed.
1 1 INDIVIDU AL INSTRUMENTS POWER AMP MAIN OUTPUTS INSTRUMENT PREAMP Use the BBE 882i in the effects loop or the main output of a guitar preamp. For keyboards, the output of the sub-mixer will be the ideal location.
