SEALED BURNERS USING THE COOKT OP SECTION FOUR: USING THE COOKT OP The cooktop featur es four or six gas surface burners; each rated at 15,000 BTU/HR. The burners are sealed to the por celainized top frame to pre vent liquid spills fr om accumulating below the top surface, making it easier to clean.
ExtraLo w T echniques • The type and quantity of food affects which setting to use. • The pan selected affects the setting. Its size, type , material, and whether a lid is used, all affect the consistency of the cooking temperatur e .
A UT OMA TIC RE-IGNITION If any one or mor e burners blow out, all electronic igniters automatically spark to r e-light the flame. Do not touch the burners when the igniters ar e sparking. IMPOR T ANT : • For pr oper combustion do not use the cooktop without the burner grates in place.
