1 Congratulations and Thank Y ou from Thermador ! Thank you for selecting a Thermador dishwasher . Y ou have joined the many consumers who demand quiet and superior performance from their dishwashers. This manual was written with your safety and convenience in mind, and the information contained herein is very important.
2 SA VE THESE INSTRUCTIONS! • Use this dishwasher only for its intended function, which is the washing of household dishware and kitchenware. • This dishwasher is provided with a manual set which includes Installation instructions and Use and Care instructions.

4 NOTE: Before using your dishwasher for the first time, check the information in this section. Some items are not dishwasher safe and should be hand-washed; others require special loading. Contact the item’s manufacturer if you are unsure about the item’ s dishwasher suitability .
5 Preparing and Loading the Dishware Check the Dishware Materials section of this manual if you are unsure about an item’s dishwasher suitability . Load only dishwasher-safe items into the dishwasher . Load items so that water can reach every part of every item.
6 Loading the T op Rack Figure 7 shows how to arrange items from a typical 10 place setting in the top rack. Figure 8 shows the top rack load pattern for 12 place settings.

Preparing and Loading the Dishware (continued) Glass Rack Assembly The glass rack adds an additional section in which to place your tall glasses, cups and vases.
8 When the bottom rack is loaded, push it into the dishwasher . T o Load Extra T all Items: 1. Remove the empty top rack by pulling it out of the dishwasher until it stops rolling. 2. Pull the front of the rack upward and outward until the rollers are completely free of the roller guides.

10 Operating the Dishwasher Before you begin Using the T ouch Pad Controls Y our new dishwasher is equipped with the latest control technology featuring CLEAR TOUCH™ activation. In order to activate a button, place the entire fingertip over the desired button and hold it in place for three seconds.
11 Selecting Dishwasher Options The factory default settings for all options should provide good results. Options Selections Y ou can access the available options in the Options S tep Down Menu as follows: Delay Start This option allows you to delay the start of the selected cycle for up to 24 hours in 30 minute increments.
12 3. Press the MENU/OK button four times to display the current End Signal setting 4. Press the + or – buttons to obtain the desired volume. · End Signal 6 – loudest setting (factory default setting) · End Signal 0 – End Signal disabled 5. After selecting the desired volume, you must press the MENU/OK button to save the setting.
13 Starting the Dishwasher When the correct cycle and options are shown in the display window and you have added detergent and rinse agent as explained in the Adding Detergent and Rinse Agent section of this manual, press the ST ART button and close the door .
14 Canceling a Cycle Open the dishwasher door far enough to expose the control panel. The display will show: · “Cancel Program”. · “Close the door”. · the remaining cycle time. · the selected cycle. · the cycle phase. Press the – button.

16 1. Open the dishwasher door approximately halfway to a 45° angle. NOTE: The detergent dispenser cover must be open for the detergent dispenser to be placed in the raised position. 2. Press the blue button on the right side of the dispenser as shown in Figure 27.
17 3. Look for obstruction in the spray nozzles. 4. If the spray nozzles need cleaning, flush them under running water . T o reinstall the bottom spray arm: 1. Return the bottom spray arm to its installed position and press it so that it snaps into place.
18 Check/Clean the Filter System This dishwasher has a filter system that consists of a Large Object T rap/Cylinder Filter assembly and a Fine Filter . Select models have an additional Micro Filter . The filter system is located on the inside of your dishwasher under the lower rack and is easily accessible.
19 Colored Doors Use only a soft cloth that is lightly dampened with soapy water . Stainless Steel Doors Use a soft cloth with a nonabrasive cleaner (preferably a liquid spray) made for cleaning stainless steel. For best results, apply the stainless steel cleaner to a cloth and wipe the surface.
20 Self Help W ater not pumped from dishwasher Make certain the drain hose isn’t kinked, clogged, or improperly installed. Make certain a portion of the drain hose is at least 20 inches above the dishwasher ’s enclosure floor (see the Installation Manual).
21 Cycle Duration/W ater Usage Information NOTE: Cycle duration and water consumption depend largely upon household water temperature and wash load, factors over which the manufacturer has no control. Therefore, the times and quantities in this chart are approximate.
