8 T o start cooking • Plug the cooker into t he mains - Fig 7 . • Press the on/off swit ch and the kee p warm orange indicator come s on - Fig 8 . • Press the control button down and the red cooking indicator will light up to show that it has st arted to cook - Fig 9 .
9 • The rice cooker will calculate the exact cooking time automatically, depending on the amount of water and ingredients placed in the bowl. • During the cooking process, it is normal f or the lid to rise up slightly and f or the water to bubble around the edges.

Use hot wat er, washing-up liquid and a sponge to clean the bowl - F ig 19 , the lid and t he st eaming basket.
