12 Nio Displa y installation Unlocking the height mechanism In the fact ory , the height -positioning syst em in the display fo ot is blocked with a red clip to prev ent damage during transportation. Befor e installing the display , you must remo ve this clip .
Nio 13 Adjusting the display position Y ou can chang e the orientation of the panel at any time, but it is mor e convenient to select la ndscape or portrait orientation befor e connecting the cables.
14 Nio T O CHANGE THE PANEL ORIENTATION 1 Stand at the front side of the panel and take the panel at both sides. 2 V ery important: Til the panel before changing the orientation.

20 Nio Daily oper a tion Rec o mmendations f or daily oper ation O PTIMIZ E THE LIF ETIME OF YOUR DISPLA Y Enabling the Display Power Management S ystem (DP MS) of your display will optimize its diagnostic lifetime b y automatically switching off the backlight when the displa y is not used f or a specified period of time.

22 Nio Stand-by s witching O N E- 3620 AND MDNG-5121 DISPLA YS : When the display is on and no on-screen display is visible, push and hold the control wheel at the front for a fe w seconds to s witch the display in stand-by .

26 Nio Navigating thr ough the OSD menus 1 Rotate the c ontrol wheel to mov e up and down through the menus. 2 T o go int o a submenu, ro tate the c ontrol wheel t o highlight the submenu. Next , pr ess the contr ol wheel to go into the submenu. 3 When you pres s on Exit , the OSD e xits the submenu and jumps t o the previous (higher -level) menu.

28 Nio Adv anced oper ation On-screen displa y (OSD) Input Selection menu* * Only in MDNC - 2121 displays Auto Detects the inc oming video signal automat ically and displa ys it on the scr een. DVI Always displa ys the DVI signal on the sreen. When no DVI signal a vailable , there will be no image on the screen.

30 Nio Display F unction menu* *This menu is av ailable only in MDNC - 2121, MDNC - 3121, MDNG- 2121 and MDNG- 6121. When you change the luminance tar get , the displa y will adjust its backlight to re ach the target. This can be seen in the Measur ed luminanc e line.
Nio 31 AL C & DIC OM O PTION S SUBMENU * *This menu is av ailable only in MDNC - 2121, MDNC - 3121, MDNG- 2121 and MDNG- 6121. Cor rect ion valu e Shows the ambient light corr ection value that is taken into acc ount in the calculation of the display function, measured in lux .

Nio 35 Changing Display F unctions Co ncep ts • The Display Function menu lets you select a display function (DF). • When you select the DIC OM DF y ou can define the DIC OM DF t o be recalculated taking the ambient light int o ac count.
