6 ► HG80 User Manual GRINDING WHEEL SAFETY • Ensure that the grinding wheel is correctly mounted and tightened before use. • Operate the grinder at “no load” for 30 seconds in a safe position and ensure there is no vibration or other defects detected.

HG80 User Manual ◄ 1 1 PRE-OPERA TION PROCEDURES PREP ARA TION FOR INITIAL USE Each unit as shipped has no special unpacking or as- sembly requirements prior to usage. Inspection to as- sure the unit was not damaged in shipping and does not contain packing debris is all that is required.
12 ► HG80 User Manual • Make sure all couplers are wiped clean before con- nection. • The hydraulic circuit control valve must be in the OFF position when coupling or uncoupling hydrau- lic tools. Failure to do so may result in damage to the quick couplers and cause overheating of the hy- draulic system.
