3 About This Manual The instructions in this manual ar e for models STR-DE945 and STR-DE845. Check your model number by looking at the upper right corner of the fr ont panel. In this manual, the STR-DE945 is used for illustration purposes unless stated otherwise.
4 Hooking Up the Components This chapter describes how to connect various audio and video components to the r eceiver . Be sure to r ead the sections for the components you have before you actually connect them to the r eceiver .

If not, use a screwdriver to set the selector to the corr ect position before connecting the AC power cord to a wall outlet.
