System tour 4 English System peripherals The AcerPower F2b comp uter consists of the system itself, and system peripherals, like a mouse, a keyboard and a set of speakers (optional). This section provide s a brief descri ption of basic system peripherals.

System tour 6 English System upgrade You can expand your AcerPower F2 b system quickly and easily by adding com ponents. You can als o upgrade t he compon ents of your AcerPower F2b system. Open the computer Before removing any panels or covers, please make sure to shut off the computer and unplug th e po wer cord from the outlet.
7 English Setting up your computer The AcerPower F2b is a ver satile, hi gh-power system, su pport ing Intel® Socket 478 CPUs. The computer uses Per ipheral Component Interface (PCI) and Accelerat ed Graphics Po rt (AGP) design. This improves system efficiency and helps the system support varied multimedia and software applications.

9 English Starting your computer After connecting all the peripheral equipment, st art your computer according to the steps below: 1 Power-on all peripheral eq uipment, such as monitor, printer, fax, speakers, etc. 2 Turn on the system. Once the star t -up process is co mplete, you can begin to use your co mputer.

11 English Troubleshooting The following questions are possible situati ons that may ar ise durin g the use of your computer, and each is followed by si mple answers and solutions to the situation. Q: I pressed the power switch bu t the system did not boot up.
Troubleshooting 12 English Q: No sound comes out of the speakers. A: Check the following: • The volume may be muted. Look for the Volume icon o n the taskbar.
