20 Copyright 2007 – Enseo, Inc. 5 Menus / Configuration Stand Alone vs. Lodging Mode The ICS-SP30 is designed to operate in a Pa y-Per-View environm ent, conn ected to a lodging system that uses protocols and comman ds to co ntrol the display and tuner.
Setup Menu Channel Options The ICS-SP30 supports analog an d digital channels from cabl e or over-the-air so urces. Note: Air – To receive over-the-air channels, an antenna and additio nal equipment.
Digital Channel Search Used to search for digital channel s avai lable. Note, these ch annels will not be automatically entered into the channel li neup. Digital channel s require entry managem ent on the Edit Channel List menu. Edit Channel List This submenu allows for manual a dd, delete and management functions of ch annels.
Analog Type Selection The options for an analog channel in clu de a customized Label for the channel, Addition of a thumbnail logo for the channel and sele ction of audio/video options for the channel. d Digital Type Selection 20 Copyright 2007 – Enseo, Inc.
Switch-On Options This menu provides options for setting up default setti ngs for when the display first turns on. These settings are particularly useful in a lodging environment to be sure the display starts on the barker channel and at a pre-defined vol ume setting.
Show Volume Indicator This menu item is a Yes/No selection for wheth er a vi sual representation on the volume adjustment should be shown on the screen when the user u ses the volume up or down on the remote.
ESP (Energy Savings Protection) This menu item allow for a setting of a defaul t time off to protect ag ainst a TV bei ng left on when a guest leaves a room without turning off the TV. The mode can b e set On or Off, and the hours of inactivity until it tu rns itself off can be 1 to 9 hours.
Restore User Setting This setting allows for the selection of allowi ng user settings for CC to be stored betwe en power cycles, or to always use a default se tting on power on. Selec t YES to override the previous user CC setting on power on, or sele ct NO to allow the pre vious user setting to be used on the next power on.
Default Limits This section allow for various d efault values to be set for the tuner. Enable V-Chip This setting is a YES/NO selection. By setting YES, th e default V-Chip settings will be active when the ICS- SP30 starts up. Selecting NO disables the V-Chip settings.
Change Access Code The V-Chip Access Code can be set through the set up process u sing this function. Service Menu The HD tuner is an advanced media device with the ability of communicating through an RF network to maintain updat ed firmware and control.

If the firmware update was initiated by mistake, it will time out after 3 to 5 minutes. Restore Factory Settings This function allows the tuner to be reset to the factory settings.
USER MENU User menus are accessed using eith er the lodging remote provided in the hotel room, or the remote supplied with the di splay. The se menus are available to users to enjoy the features of the tuner and display. Only a few control functi ons are available through the user m enus.
Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) This menu item allows the user the option of turning on SAP audio if available. Source If made user-accessible from the Setup Menu, the user will have the ability to select availabl e inputs on the display for use of attached media device s.
