GPS Your phone has a GPS receiver that uses satellite signals to calculate your location. If you cannot use some GPS features, see I cannot use Internet-based services on page 70. Using GPS Your location can be found when you have a clear view of the sky.
Turn off GPS The GPS receiver turns off automatically when it is not in use. You can also turn the GPS receiver off manually. This saves battery power when you use features that do not require the GPS receiver to find your location. To turn on or off GPS manually 1 Select Menu > Location services > Settings .
To compare results 1 Select Menu > Location services > Tracker > Results . 2 Scroll to a result and select Options > Compare . 3 Select a result to compare with. A GPS location is required before results can be compared. For more information, see Using GPS on page 58.
