Some hosts even provide full plug-i n delay compensation throughout the entire s ignal path, including sen ds, groups, and buses.

Duende User Guide Page 21 of 29 When the EQ is switched to ‘E’ operation, th e ba ndwidth of the HMF and LMF sections rem ains constant at a ll gains, so at lower gains th e EQ curves are comparatively narrower for a given Q setting. This is particula rly useful for drums, since relatively high Q is available at low gain settings.

This avoids the time shift which occurs when a ‘hard’ bypass is done using the de fault DAW control, allowing for easier A/B comparis on between processed and unprocessed signals.
