CHAPTER 2: BASIC SETUP | 7 Chapter 2 Basic Setup This chapter covers the minimum steps you must complete to install and use the Bluetooth Ca rd. STEP 1: Register the Card Socket highly recom mends that all users register their product. Regi stered users receive priority for technical s upport.

CHAPTER 2: BASIC SETUP | 11 STEP 6: Get Connected! The Get Connected! Wizard guides you through a one-ti me setup process that prepares the mobi le computer and phone for B luetooth connections. The wizard varies depending on what phone you want to connect to.

18 | CHAPTER 2: BASIC SETUP 9. To use a different Bluetoot h phone for dial-up networking, you can use the same connecti on setup, but you must make the new phone your favorite. Just run the Get Connected! Wizard agai n, select the new phone, and make it y our new Favorite when prompted.
CHAPTER 2: BASIC SETUP | 19 Pocket PC 2003 Note: These instructions are f or a standard dial-up connection to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) . If you want to connect to a work netw ork and/or VPN/proxy server, please refer to your Pocket PC 2003 documentation for instructi ons.

In most cases, bonding is for est ablishing secure com munications wi th a Bluetooth-enabled phone. Thi s is a more detai led alternative to usi ng the Bluetooth “Get Connected! Wizard.
