6 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 PRE- START CHECK L IST Make the f ollowing check s and perform the service requir ed before eac h start-up. 2.1.1. Check tires and add or releas e air as needed to bring press ure in drive tires to: 12 psi (T urf Type Tires ), 5 ps i (All Ter rain Type Tires) and 25 psi in rear cas ter tires.
7 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS IMPORT A NT: T his Out Front Z-Rider is equipped with hydros tatic drive. T he forward and rear w ard movement of the mach ine is controlled by a joystick lev er. Joys tick operations should be pe rformed only from the operator’s position in the seat.

Rotate k ey counter clock wise to the preheat position (G L letter designation on switch) to allow the glow lamp to heat up.

Contact a local SNAPPER dealer f or parts and servic e assistance. For the cor rect part or inform ation fo r a particular SN APPER Out Front Z- Rider, alway s m ention the model and serial number .
12 Section 3 - MA INTENA NCE 3.2.3. CHECK MOW ER DRIVE BELT 1. Drive Belt Cover Remov al a. Lower deck to lowest setting. b. Remove k nobs that secure the deck cover. See Figure 3.3. c.
