Disconnect spark plug wire a nd secure away from spark plug. Engine and components are HOT. Avoid serious burns, allow sufficient time for all components to cool.

W hen bail is rotate d rearward, t he engine may be start ed and will run as indicated by the e ngine with rotating arr ow. With the engine running, the bla de is rotating as indicated b y the cut gras s symbol.
