16 Section 4 - REPA IR & A DJUSTMENTS 4.1.5. SKID SHOE A DJUSTM ENT NOTE: It is rec omm ended to r aise the auger/im peller housing when c learing rough or gr aveled surfac es. To raise auger/im peller the s kid s hoes should be lowered. 1. Tilt m achine up and plac e a wooden block under auger/im peller housing.
17 Section 4 - REPA IR & A DJUSTMENTS 4.1.6. SINGLE HA NDLE CONTROL A DJUSTM ENT IMPO RTANT: Standing in the oper ator’s position, the lef t handle bar lever is f or wheel drive engagement and disengagem ent. The r ight handle bar lever is f or auger/im peller engagem ent and disengagem ent.
18 Section 4 - REPA IR & A DJUSTMENTS 4.1.7. AUGER SHEAR BOLT REPL A C EMEN T IMPO RTANT: If engine is operating corr ectly and auger/im peller drive belt is not dam aged or severed, but the auger/im peller does not rotate it is possibly the auger/impeller s haft shear bolt.
19 TROUBLESHOOTING PROBL EM PROBA BLE CA USE CORRECTIVE A CTION Engine Will Not Start 1. Fuel tank empty. 1. Fill fuel tank with fresh fuel/oil mix . Using Recoil Starter 2. Engine needs choking and priming. 2. Mov e choke control to “CHOKE” position.
