An induction coil located under t he glass ceramic cooking sur fac e creates an alternating electromagne tic field which enters the glass cer amic and induces a thermal current in the base of the sa ucepan.
Instructions f or the User 35 6.3 Limitation on the duration of use The hob has an automatic de vice which limits the dura tion of use. The durat ion of operation of each coo king zone depends on t he power lev el selected (se e table). The assumption is that no changes are made to the settings o f the cooking zone while it is in op eration.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Before performing any operations , switch off the power supply to th e appliance. 9.1 Cleaning the glass ceramic hob The glass ceramic hob should be regularly cleaned, preferably after every use , once the residual heat warning lights have gone off.

INST ALLA TION 11.1 Safety instructions fo r installing kitchen furniture • V eneers, adhesives or pla stic coatings on adjacent furniture should be temper ature-resistant (>75°C).
