Instructions f o r the User 12 5.1 Using the rack or tray The racks and tr ays are equipped with a mechanical safety lock which pre vents them from being taken out accidentally . T o inser t the rack or tra y correctly , check that the lock is f acing downwards (as shown in the illustration on the right).
Instructions f or the User 13 5.4 Using the r otisserie r od (on some models onl y) When cooking with the rotisser ie, position the frame on the third runner (see 6.2.1 Oven runners). Once the frame is inser ted, the shaped par t must sit facing outwards (as shown in the illustration).
Instructions f o r the User 14 5.5 Using the pizza plate (on some models onl y) With the ov en cold, remove the circular cov e r from the bottom (as shown in the illustration) and inser t the pizza pla te. Make sure that the plate is inser ted correctly in the recess provided.
Instructions f or the User 15 6. USING THE O VEN 6.1 Before u sing the appliance • Remo ve any labels (apar t from the tech nical data plate) fro m tra y s, dripping pans and the cooking compar tment.
Instructions f o r the User 16 6.2.3 Oven inside lights The ov en li ghts come on when the do or is opened or any function or recipe is selected, e xcept for , and (where present). When set to ON, the oven lights can be switched on/ off by pressing the on/off button.

T emperature selection knob On/off knob This knob can be used to: set the clock, select a temperature and the cooking time, and set cooking programmes .

Instructions f o r the User 24 6.10 Cooking pro grammes 6.10.1 Semi-automatic cooking Semi-automatic cooking is the functio n which allows a cooking operation to be star ted and then ended after a specific length of time set by the user. Select a cooking function as descr ibed in 6.

Instructions f o r the User 28 6.11 Selecting a recipe The appliance is equipped with preset re cipes and 1 free recipe. A recipe is a combination of preset functions, temperatures and cooking times. In the ON state only , a recipe can be selected by simply turning the ON/OFF knob to the right or left.
Instructions f or the User 29 6.11.1 Modifying the set data During cooking with a recipe, it is possible to modify the preset temperature by tur ning the temperature selection knob . T o alter the time, press the temperature selection knob then turn it right or left.

Instructions f or the User 33 The cooking times in the table refer to the f ood indica ted in the recipe and a re a guide only; they ma y vary depending on the weight. The table giv es the factory-set data. T o reset a recipe with the or iginal settings after it has been modified, just enter the data given in the tab le.
Instructions f o r the User 34 6.14 Secondary me nu The appliance also has a concealed se condar y menu allowing the user to: • Activate or deactivate the child lock mode. • Activ ate or deactivate Showroom mode (which disables all the heating elements so that only the control panel works).
Instructions f or the User 35 6.14.1 Child lock mode By activating this mode, after two min utes of operation without any inter vention from the user , the controls will automatically be locked, indicated by lighting up. T o temporar ily release the lock during cooki ng, hold down the temperature selection knob for 5 seconds.
Instructions f o r the User 36 7. COOKING WITH THE O VEN ECO: Using the grill and the low e r heating element in combinati on is par ticular ly suitable for cooking on one set of runners only , a s it provides low energy consumption.

Instructions f or the User 45 8. CLEANING A ND MAINTENANCE NEVER USE A STEAM JET FOR CLEANING THE APPLIANCE. We recommend the use of cleaning products distributed by SMEG. 8.1 Cleaning stai nless steel T o keep stainless steel in good condition it should be cleaned regular ly after use.

Instructions f or the User 47 Lift up the edge of the lower heating element a fe w centimetres and clean the bottom. Put the pizza plate suppor t back in place, pushing it in until it hits the back of the o ven, and push it down so that the heating element plate is embedded into the base itself.

Instructions f or the User 57 9.2 Remo ving the door 9.2.1 With mo veable lever s Open the door completely . Lift the lev ers A of the two hinges aw ay from them until they engage. Grasp the door on both sides with both hands, lift it forming an angle of around 30° and remove it.

There are fasteners on all f ou r sides to attach it to the edge of the oven. Pull the edges of the seal outwards to detach the f asten ers.
Instructions f o r the User 60 Remo ving the internal glass panel: • Remov e th e inter nal glass panel by pulling it upwards, f ollowing the mov ement indi cated by the arrows . Doing this detaches the 4 pins attached to the glass from their slots in the ov en door .
