Start a browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer , Firefox, Safari). 2. Enter the IP address or host name of the Axis product in the browser’s Location/Address eld.
AXIS C3003-E Network Speaker Set Up the Product Set Up the Product The Axis product can be congured by users with administrator rights. Go to Setup > Basic Setup > 1 Users to administer users. • Administrators have unrestricted access to all settings.
AXIS C3003-E Network Speaker Audio Audio The audio settings can be used to audio quality . Y ou can congure the following: • Audio settings. See page 1 0 . • Audio clips. See page 1 1 . Set Up Audio To set up the Axis product, go to Audio > Audio Settings .
AXIS C3003-E Network Speaker Audio Source lists the built-in microphone. Use the Input gain to control the volume (dB Full Scale) of the audio input. If the sound is too low , choose a higher dB, to amplify the sound. If the sound is too high, choose a lower dB.
AXIS C3003-E Network Speaker V oice over IP (V oIP) V oice over IP (V oIP) V oice over IP (V oIP) is a group of technologies that enables voice communication and multimedia sessions over IP networks. In the Axis product, V oIP is enabled through the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Dual-T one Multi-Frequency (D TMF) signaling.
AXIS C3003-E Network Speaker V oice over IP (V oIP) P ort Settings • SIP port – Enter the port used for SIP sessions. The signalling trafc through this port will be non-encrypted. The default port number is 5060. • SIP TLS port – Enter the port used for SIPS sessions and TLS-secured SIP sessions.
AXIS C3003-E Network Speaker V oice over IP (V oIP) TURN is primarily used in symmetric NA T setups. Like STUN, TURN can also be used in full-cone, address-restricted cone, and port-restricted cone NAT setups.

AXIS C3003-E Network Speaker Events Events The Event pages allow you to congure the Axis product to perform actions when different events occur . For example, the product can play an audio clip according to a schedule or when a call is received. The set of conditions that denes how and when the action is triggered is called an action rule.
AXIS C3003-E Network Speaker Events • Input Signal - Speaker T est P erformed – T riggers an action rule after an Auto Speaker T est has been performed. It can be used to, for example, send a notication to an operator when a speaker test has been performed after the product has restarted.

AXIS C3003-E Network Speaker System Options In Axis implementation, the Axis product and the authentication server identify themselves with digital certicates using EAP-TLS (Extensible Authentication Protocol - Transport Layer Security). The certicates are provided by a Certication Authority (CA).
