- 1 - Read these operating instructions carefully befor e using the appliance for the f irst time and preserve this booklet for later reference. P ass this booklet on to whoev er might acquire the appliance at a future date.
- 2 - MICRO W A VE Intended Usage This appliance is intended for the heating up and preparation of foodstuffs according to the describe d procedur es. Any modifications to the appliance shall be deemed to be improper use and implies substantial risk of accidents.
- 3 - • Under no circumstances should y ou remov e the microw ave ov en housing. • Should the lamp in the interior of the microw ave oven need r eplacing, arrange for this to be done by a qualified specialist.
- 4 - • Clean the microwav e oven thor oughly after war ming up greasy foods, especially if the y were not co ve r e d . Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it. R esidues such as fat or gr ease cannot be allowed to collect on the heating e l e ments of the grill.
- 5 - • Eggs in their shells and hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in the microw ave ov en as they could explode, even on comple tion of the hea ting process. Food with thic k skins, such as potatoes , whole pumpkins, apples and chestnuts must be prick ed before cooking.
- 6 - Before y ou begin Basic principles of microw av e cook er y • Arrange the food with consideration. • The thickest parts near the edges. • Pay attention to the cooking time. Select the shor test possible stated cooking time and increa se as required.

- 8 - Without foodstuf fs or accessor ies (glass plate 3 , star roller 4 and grill stand t ) ), switch the appliance on in the mode Grill: • Press the button Grill once 6 . With this you select the Grill operation. In the display 1 appears the symbol and the symbol blinks.
- 9 - The cooking timer progr esses fur ther in the backg r ound. If you wish to check the pr ogress of the kitchen time r, press the kitchentimer button w . It appears for a brief period in the kitchen timer. As soon as the set time has expired y ou will hear 3 signal tones.
- 10 - The increments for setting the time with t he cont r o l dial q are as follow s: • fr om 1 0 sec. to 5 min: in 1 0 second increments • fr om 5 to 1 0 min: in 30 second increments • fr om .
- 11 - Warning: Never use the grill stand t , or other me tallic ob jects, when you ar e using the appliance in the combina tion cooking process. Metals r eflect the microw ave radi ation and it leads to the generation of sparks.
- 12 - 2. Press, repeatedly if need be, the button W eight/ Amount 7 until t he required w eight resp. required number of portions appears in the di splay 1 .
- 13 - • Then add the noodles. After this, you can star t the auto-menu for noodles. • F inally , allow the noodles to stand for appro x. 3 minutes. Programmme 3: Fish This progr amme runs only with utilisation of micro- wav e power . Subject to the weight programmed in, this pr ogramme runs for between appro x 3:30 and 1 6 minutes.
- 14 - • A whole roast must be used, other wise the side facing upwar ds could dr y out. For this reason the microw ave o ven automatically interrupts the progr amme af ter about 2/3 of the time has elapsed and a signal tone sounds. T urn the roast and then press the button Star t/ Quick star t q once again to continue the progr amme.
- 15 - 2. Press the button Clock 9 . In the display 1 „0 1: “ blinks and the hour-glass symbol appears. 3. T ur n the control knob q to progr amme the hours. 4. Press the clock button 9 , now the minute figures appear . 5. T urn the control knob q to pr ogramme the minutes.
- 16 - The Glass plate 3 generates loud noise when rev olving. • The Glass plate 3 is not correctly positioned on the star rotator 4 . Inser t the Glass plate 3 correctly into the cooking area. • The star rotator 4 and/or the floor of the cooking area are unclean.
