The batteries mak e sure that the internal clock continues to run e ven during a pow er outage.

14 Handling and operation KH 2420 GB IE CY Snooze function ("SNOOZE" function) Whilst the alarm is sounding press the SNOO ZE button 10 to temporarily switch off the alarm. In the display 5 appears the indicator "SNOO ZE". After 9 minutes the alarm sounds again.
