5 OPER A TION OF CONTROL P ANEL The operation of the ov en is controlled b y pressing the appr opriate pads arranged on the surf ace of the control panel. An entry signal tone should be heard each time you pr ess the control panel t o make a corr ect entry .
6 BEFORE OPER A TING Getting Started Y our oven has Energy S av e Mode. This facility sav es electricity when the oven is not in use. T o operate the o ven. 1 . Plug in the ov en. Nothing will appear on the display at this time. 2. Open the door the ov en lamp will be light.
7 MANU AL OPER A TIONS Microwave T ime Cooking This is a manual cooking f eature, f irst ent er the cooking time then the power le v el. There ar e elev en dif f erent pow er lev els. Y ou can progr amme up to 99 minut es, 99 seconds. This variable cooking contr ol allows y ou to select the rate of micr ow av e cooking.
8 Sequence Cooking Y our oven can be prog rammed with up to 3 aut omatic cooking sequences, aut omatically s witching from one v ariable power set ting to the next. * Suppose you want t o cook f or 1 0 minut es on 50% follo wed by 5 min utes on 1 00%.
9 Increasing Time During a Cooking Programme Microw av e time can be added during a cooking programme using the S T ART/+1min b ut ton. * Suppose you want t o increase the cooking time b y 2 minut es during 5 minutes on 50% pow er cooking. (at the moment the remaining cooking time is 1 min.
