www.sennheiserUSA.com/G3 5 The Building Blocks of a Wireless System Every wireless system consists of three main components: 1) T ransmitter The transmitter accepts a (mic or line) input signal, converts it into an RF (radio frequency) signal, and then transmits it.
6 The T ransmitter The transmitter has a fairly straightforward job: take a microphone or line-level input signal, convert it into an RF signal, and transmit it. It sounds easy, but there are a number of variables involved in producing accurate and dependable transmissions.
