1 ENGLISH Using the IP Camera Browser Interface The ad min user has full a ccess to the IP ca mera browser interface. Going through the menu on the left, you can ex pand and na vigate to access all fea tures configurable on the camera . Open the IE bro wser and enter the IP addre ss of IP camera to acce ss the Web configuration in terface.
2 Name Function (3) Video screen Change the vide o screen display . Display the a ctual video pix el size. Display the video screen in co mpact size. Display the video on the entire screen. Press ESC to exit full screen mode. (4) S tream Switch to view the video strea m type.

5 ENGLISH 2. A MFZ window will show up on the scree n. 3. User can clic k the object or point o n screen to fou cs or u se the functio n buttons on MFZ window to do the focus adju stment. 4. The function buttons o f the MFZ window are described below: Name Function (1) Auto focus Automatically focu s on the center o f t he screen view .
6 Name Function (4) Zoom out T o zoom in for focus adjustment. (5) Zoom in T o zoom out for fo cus adjustment. (6) Focus near side T o adjust the near side of focus. (7) Focus far side T o adjust the far side of focus. (8) Reset T o reset the zoom back to the center of screen view with default value (1x).
7 ENGLISH Using Quick Focus The Quick Fo cus function helps the user to adju st focusing of IP camera easier and qui ck er . There are 2 w ays to use Quick Focus as described in the follow ing: Web UI Interface Open the brow ser of your PC and enter the IP address of the IP camera to make a connection.
8 75/100 : The first number ’s value changes as you adjust the focus and will reach 100 when the object to focus on is c ompletely in focus . The second number is t he be st focus ed value and w ill always be presented as 100. Adjust : This mea ns the Quick Focus i s enabled and rea dy for focus ad jusment.
9 ENGLISH System > General In this section, only the admin leve l user is authorized to configure the IP camera gener al settings. There are 3 tab s in Genera l settings: Ma intenance, Date & T ime, an d System Log.
10 Name Function (6) Import Setting s Restore or repla ce the current sett ings from a backup file. (7) Firmware Upgrade Upgrade the fir mware to the latest version. To Upgrade the IP Camera Firm ware 1. Down load the file from our website and save it onto your computer hard disk.
11 ENGLISH System > General > Date & Time In t he Date & T ime tab , admin can manually set the date and time se tting or synchronize it with an Internet t ime s erver or the compu ter date and time setting.
12 Name Function (4) Setting Method Select the date & time setting met hod. Sync wi th current PC: obtain the date and time se tting on the current login co mputer . Sync with NTP Server: ob tain the date and time setting fro m NTP server . In the drop-dow n list, select the NT P host na me.
13 ENGLISH System > User M anagement In User Manage ment, only admin level is au thorized to create, delete , and edit account t o connect to the IP camera and con figure the client connection setting. There are 2 tabs in User M anagement setting: Ac count and Connec tion.

15 ENGLISH System > User M anagement > Connection In the Connection page, admin can s et the total number of users that can access the IP camera at any one point, and filtering the IP ad dress to allow or deny access to the IP camera. Http Connection: Select the connection type.
16 System > Netw ork In this section, only admin leve l is authorized to configure the Network set tings. System > Netw ork > Setting In the Setting page, you can configure the type of network connection for the IP camera and assign a name for the IP c amera.
17 ENGLISH Name Function DHCP : select this o ption to autom atically obt ain an IP addre ss fro m the DHCP serv er , wh enever the IP ca mera is conne cted to the netw ork. Y ou can use the IP camera UPn P Discovery softwar e on the CD to easily setup the IP ca mera network.
18 System > Netw ork > Server In Server page, you c an c onfigure the Email, FTP , and NAS setting. It is necessary t o configure the server settings so that the IP c amera can perfor m the task in the Event setting wh en a trigger is activated.
19 ENGLISH System > Netw ork > Streaming In the S tea ming page, you can co nfigure HTTP , HTTPs, R TSP por t and Multicast setting. The multicast setting will wo rk when the user has selected the video stream protoc ol as multicast in the main UI.
20 System > Netw ork > QoS In QoS page, you can configure the Quality of Service setting. Enabling the QoS allows you to set the para meter and prioritize the IP camera to provide a stable streaming performance a t a certain level in a high traffi c network.
21 ENGLISH System > Netw ork > Others In the O thers p age, you can enab le/disable the UPnP setting, DDNS function, and SNMP configuration . If your router does not support UPnP f unction , you can enable t he UPnP forwarding and set the port mapping.
22 SNMPv1 a nd SNMPv2 : The term "Community na me" in SNMPv1 a nd SNMPv2 can be roughly regarded as key . The person who has the community name has the authorit y to read o r edit th e information of IP camera via SNMP .
23 ENGLISH System > Securit y Only admin levels can adjust t he Im age setting. There are 2 function tabs: IP Filter , 802.1x , R STP A uth.. . System > Securit y > IP Filter Enable Filter List : Select to turn th e IP addres s filtering on or off .
24 Single – add an IP addres s Network – assign a network addr ess and the corr esponding subne t mask to be fil tered. Range – assign a ra nge of IP address es to be filtere d. 3. Click Save to add the created dat a in the filter list or click Cancel to ex it without saving dat a.
25 ENGLISH System > Securit y > 802.1 X IEEE 802.1X is an IEEE S tand ard for port-based Ne twor k Access Control. It provide s an authentication mechanism to dev ices wishing to atta ch to a LAN or WLAN. Mark the check box to Enable 802 .1X protocol.

27 ENGLISH System > Image Both admin and operator lev els can a djust the Image setting. There are 5 function tabs : OSD , Preference , Exposure , A dvanced , and Privacy Mask . System > Image > OSD In OSD page, you can enable/disab le over laying tim e stamp, text t itle and add logo.
28 System > Image > Pr eference In the Pr eference p age, y ou can tune the I P ca mera white balance, s elect display color o r blac k & w hite, set the flicker f requency , change the video orientation , and adjust the brightness and contrast.
29 ENGLISH System > Image > Expos ure In the E xpo sure page, you can set the exposure zone, exposure mode, and calibrate the DC Iris. After completing the setting, click Sav e to apply the new setting and Cance l to keep the old setting.
30 System > Image > Advanced In the Advanced pa ge, you can co nfigure the W ide Dyn amic Range, De noise, IR-Cut Filter , B/W imag e at night and IR LED Strength . After completing the s etting, click Sa ve to apply t he new setting and Cancel to keep the old setting.

32 System > Image > Priva cy M ask In t he Privacy Mask page, you can enable 3 privacy masks. S impl y adjust the size and position the mask on the area you wa nt to conceal. The viewer will not be able to see the masked ar ea. It will cov er the video screen w ith black fra me.
33 ENGLISH System > Stream Setting Both admin and operator levels can configure the Video S tream. After configuring the vide o s trea m setting, click Save to apply the ne w setting and Cancel to keep the old se tting.

In this section, the IP c amera can be configured to per form an action when an eve nt is triggered at the specified time. T o Setup th e Event 1. Click Event . 2. On the time tab le, click-drag to select the time period to specify the p eriod of the eve nt.
