1 C h a p t e r 1 I n t r o d u c t i o n EB1304 MPEG4 + is a 4-channel stand-alone DVR u nit that provides real-time monitoring and digital recording of su rveillance video. Up to four video cameras and four sensor device s can be hooked up t o this DVR unit.

7 1.5.2 Connecting De vices The back panel of the DVR un it, you ca n connect up to 4 video cameras, 4 sensor devices, 1 alarm device and output video to a TV or CRT/LCD mon itor. Connecting the unit to a PC, through USB co nnection, the bundled software enables you to transfer, playback and segmen t the video.
8 1.5.3 Connecting the S ensor/Rela y device The Senso r and Alarm ports enable you to connect (4) sen sor inputs and (1) relay outputs. Ju st connect the external sensor an d relay p in directly to the pinhole. Check t he table below and locate which p inhole is assigned to sensor input and relay output.
