LY Your new tractor has been assembled at the factory with exception of those Darts left unassembled for shipping purposes. To ensure safe and proper operation of your tractor all 0arts and hardware you assemble must be tightened securely, Use the correct tools as necessary to insure proper tightness.

OPERATION TO OPERATE MOWER (See Fig. 7) Your tractor is equipped with an operator presence sens- ing switch, Any attempt by the operator to leave the seat with the engine running and the attachment clutch engaged will shut off the engine. Select desired height of cut.

CUSTO RESPONSIBiLiTIES V-BELTS Check V-belts for deterioration and wear after 100 hours of operatior ano replace t necessary. The belts are not adjustable. Replace belts if they begin to slip from wear. TRANSAXLE COOLING Keep transaxle free from build-up of dirt and cnaff whicP can restnct cooling.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES IMPORTANT: PETROLEUM SOLVENTS SUCH AS KEROSENE, ARE NOT TO BE USED TO CLEAN THE CARTRIDGE, THEY MAY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE CARTRIDGE. DO NOT OIL CARTRIDGE. DO NOT USE PRESSURIZED AIR TO CLEAN OR DRY CARTRIDGE, AIR SCREEN FIG.
SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS CAUTION: BEFORE PERFORMING ANY SERVICE OR ADJUSTMENTS: Depress clutch/brake pedal fully and set parking brake. Place gearshift lever in neutral (N) position.
SERVICE AND ADJUSTMENTS TO LEVEL MOWER HOUSING Check ac.ustmem on right side of tractor. Measure dis- Adjust the mower while tractor is parked on level ground or driveway. Make sure tires are propedy inflated (See "PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS" on page 3 of this manual).
