Page10 SCEPTRE X246 Setting Up Your Mo nitor The following are gene ral short step s to setup and use the monitor with your PC under the Microsof t Windows XP operating sy st em . 1. After you hav e installed the base, connect your VG A or D VI cord to both the monitor and PC and turn on the PC and the monitor .

Page14 SCEPTRE X246 Connecting the LCD If Y ou Have DVI Conn ection o n Y our Video Card… 1. Make sure the pow er of X246 LCD MONITOR is turned off. 2. Obtain a DVI cable and connec t to the DVI connection on your PC. Con nect the other end of the cable to yo ur X246 LCD MONITOR.

If you were previous ly using a CRT (bulky) monitor , plea se hook up your old monitor first and make sure your refresh rate is set to 60 Hz frequen cy before using the X246 LCD M ONITOR.
