5 EN Notes when mounting the TV on a wall If the unit is to be mounted on the wall, contact the retailer wher e you purchased the TV for advice, and ha ve the equipment professionally installed. Incomplete or improper installation may cause injury to you, and/or damage to the TV .
EN 6 How to attach the stand Finally secure the bottom-plate with 5 scre ws (supplied) (4x12mm(5/32 x 15/32 inches)) as indicated by the arrow s in figure 2. Be sure to follo w the instructions. 13 EN Connections to other equipment T o connect a HDMI or a D VI device to the unit The HDMI input receives digital audio and uncompr essed video from a HDMI device or uncompressed digital video from a D VI device. When you connect to a D VI device with a HDMI-to-D VI adapter cable, it transf ers only video signal.
EN 14 T o connect the TV to a PC (Personal Computer) BEFORE Y OU CONNECT THIS TV TO YOUR PC , CHANGE THE ADJUSTMENT OF Y OUR PC’S RESOLUTION AND REFRESH RA TE ( 60 HZ ) . Connect one end of a (male to male) VGA cable to the video cor d of the computer and the other end to the VG A connector PC MONIT OR IN on the rear of the TV .
15 EN Starting setup The Initial Setup menu appears the first time you turn on the TV , and assists you to specify the Air/Cable setting, and program y our channels automatically . IMPORT ANT: Make sure that the antenna or cable TV system connection is made! 1 T o turn on the TV , press POWER .
