18 ¬ U ANT I - TIP BRACKET INSAL LA T ION To reduc e the risk of tipping the rang e by abnorm al usage or im proper door loading, the ran ge must be secured by properl y installing th e anti - tip dev ice packed w ith the appl iance . • Place the anti - tip brack et on the f loor as shown f igure.

20 OVEN FU NCTION SELECTO R KN OB There ar e three func tions – OVEN LIGHT , BAKE AND BROIL . To switch of f the heat ing element s of oven turn th e function se lector to th e setting pos ition. OVEN T HERMO STAT CONTRO L KNOB Turn the k nob clock wi se t o select the d esired tem perature up t o 450° F.
21 Never leav e an empt y ute nsil, or one which has boi led dry, on a hot surfac e unit. The utens il could overheat and damage th e utensils or surface unit. Always be s ure that all con trol knobs are turne d to and the indicator light s are when you are not cook ing.
22 In order t o bake, use the following s teps: 1. Place the rack in the cor rect posit ion, before tur n the o ven . 2. Turn the f unction select or knob to th e Bake positi on . 3. Turn the t hermostat c ontrol knob to th e desired t emperature . 4.
23 C AR E A ND MA INTE NA NCE ¬ U GENERAL INFORM A T ION • CAUTION: Be fore any operation of c leaning and maintena nce disconnect the appli ance from the el ectrical supply. • It is advis able to clean when the ap pliance is col d and espec ially for clea ning the enam eled parts.
24 ¬ U LIFT- UP COOKTOP You can ac cess the area benea th of the c ooktop for cleaning purpose s b y lif ting up the cook top. In order to do: • Hold the c ooktop f rom front lef t and right cor ners of cook top and pull it up. • After lif ting up t he cooktop h igh enough, set the su pport rod i nto place as s hown.

29 EL SOPORTE PARA EVITAR Q UE LA COCINA SE VOLTEE La cocina no se inclinar á durante el uso no rmal. Sin embargo, la cocina se podría inclinar si aplica mucha fuerza o peso para abrir la puerta, si es que el soporte para evitar que la cocina se voltee no est é ajustado co r rectam en te.
30 o Para minimizar la posibilidad de choque eléct rico, desconecte la cocina del suministro eléctrico A/C, antes de empez ar el mante nimiento. NOTA : Apagar la cocina no la d esconecta del suministro eléctrico. Recomendamos que llame un técnico calificado para dar mantenimiento a su cocina.

33 o Perilla selectora de función del horno Hay tres func iones – OVEN LI G H T, BAK E y BROIL. Para apagar los calentadores del horno gire el selector de función a la posición OFF. o Perilla de temperatura del horno Gire la perilla en sentido horario para seleccionar la temperatura deseada hasta un máximo de 450ºF.
34 o Si una hornilla permanece ro ja por mucho tiempo, probablemente el f ondo de la olla no sea lo suficientemente plano o sea muy pe queño para la hornilla. El uso prolongado de los utensilios incorrectos podría resultar en daño a la hornilla, la cocina, los cables y alambres, y las áreas que los rodean .
35 PERILL A DE SELECTOR DE F UNCI ON Gire la perilla en sentido horario para que el horno caliente de acuerdo a alguna de las siguientes func iones : Luz del Horno El horno est á equipado c on una luz que ilumina el horno para que pueda con trolar visualmente los alimentos que está preparando.
36 IMPORTA NTE Siempre use guantes de cocina protectores cuando coloque o retire la ba ndeja de asar, las rej illas, recipientes u otros utensilios de cocina fuera del horno.
37 o Hale la hornilla suavemente hasta que se desconecte del recept á culo. o Una vez retir ada la hornilla, el platillo se puede levantar. • Limpie las hornillas y los platillos re f lect ores con una solución de detergente suav e y agua tibia. Exprima el e xceso de agua de la esp onja o trapo cuando las limpie.
