12 Chapter 1 T ouchpad Basics The following teaches you how to use the touchpad: Move your finger across the touchpad (2) to move the cursor . Press the left (1) and right (4) b uttons located beneat h the touchpad to perfor m selection and executi on functions.

Chapter 2 47 BIOS Setup Utility The BIOS Setup Utility is a hardware configuration prog ram built into y our computer ’s BIOS (Basic Input/ Output System). Y our computer is already prop erly configured and optimi zed, and you do not need to run this utility .
48 Chapter 2 Invoking BIOS Setup The setup functi on can only be invoked by pressi ng F2 when Press <F2> to enter Setup messa ge is prompted on the bottom of screen during POST . The setup uses a menu driven interfac e to allow the user to configure their system.

Chapter 4 95 Intermittent Problems Intermittent system hang problems can be caused by a variety of reasons th at have nothing to do with a hardware defect, such as: cosmic radiation, electros tatic discharge, or software errors. FRU replacement should be considered only when a recurring prob lem exists.
