Customization and Navigation 10 Menu T ypes Menu Typ es There is one main menu used b y the i760 called the Start Menu. The Start menu contains links to all the applications and settings in formation, similar to that of a Windo ws based PC system.

Navigation: Access and s croll through me nus and lists, confirm changes that you’ve entered, and interact wi th menus th a t appear in the display .

T a p your LCD screen to acti va te the password screen. 2. Enter your password on either the keypad or by using either the QWERTY keypad or al phanumeric keypad.

This a ction is simila r to that of a Reset ac tion on your comp uter which on ly resta rts the machine while maintai ning all da ta intact.
41 4. First release Reset then the Action ( ) key . This act ion restar ts the phone, clears any data stored on the phone, and then cy cle power to the phone. 5. Once the phone starts, you must tap th e LCD screen using your Stylus to begin the calibration process.

Note: The Message Notification icon ap pears in th e top of the displa y .
63 Message Folders There are five message folders in the MMS, Outlook E-ma il and T ext Messages di rector y (see adjacent image). The folders and their func tions are similar to th e folders in the Act iveSync director y , except for Outbox. In Acti veSync, E-mail is stored in the Outbox until you perform an ActiveSync with your PC.

71 • Reply to all : Allows you to send a reply to all recipeints of the message. • Forward :Allows you to forward the message to another number or email address. • Resend : If the message fails to be sent after its intial deliver y , this options allows you to resend the last outgoing message.

Once messages are remov ed from the Deleted Items folder , they are permanently erased. • Drafts: Drafts conta in all messages that were not completed and sa ved to be sent at a later da te.

Unlike infrared, you don't need to line up the devices to beam info rmation with Bluetooth.
