Capturing photos Basic functions 36 Zooming Y ou can capture close-up photos by adjusting the zoom. Zoom out Zoom in Zoom ratio When you rotate the z oom button, the zoom ratio shown on the screen ma y change inconsistently . Digital zoom The Digital zoom is supported by default in Shooting mode.
Capturing photos Basic functions 37 Intelli zoom If the zoom indicator is in the Intelli range, your camera is using the Intelli z oom. Photo resolution varies acc ording to the zoom rate if y ou use the Intelli zoom. By using both the Optical zoom and Intelli zoom, you can z oom in up to 36 times.
