◀ ▶ ◀ ● SPDIF Output : SPDIF (Sony Philips Digital InterFace) is used to pr ovide digital sound, r educing interfer ence going to speakers and various digital devices such as a DVD player . Audio Format : Y ou can select the Digital Audio output (SPDIF) format.
▶ ◀ ▶ ● Dolby Digital Comp (Line / RF) : This function minimizes signal disparity between a dolby digital signal and a voice signal (i.e. MPEG Audio, HE-AAC, A TV Sound). N Select Line to obtain dynamic sound, and RF to r educe the dif fer ence between loud and soft sounds at night time.

▶ ◀ ▶ Samsung’ s W ireless LAN adapter is sold separately and is of fer ed by select r etailers, Ecommer ce sites and Samsungparts.com. Samsung’ s W ireless LAN adapter supports the IEEE 802.11a/b/g and n communication pr otocols. Samsung r ecommends using IEEE 802.
◀ ▶ ◀ ● T o use a wir eless network, your TV must be connected to a wir eless IP shar er (either a r outer or a modem). If the wir eless IP shar er supports DHCP , your TV can use a DHCP or static IP addr ess to connect to the wir eless network.
▶ ◀ ▶ ● If Pur e High-thr oughput (Gr eenfield) 802.11n mode is selected and the Encryption type is set to WEP , TKIP or TKIP AES (WPS2Mixed) for your wir eless r outer , Samsung TVs will not support a connection in compliance with new W i-Fi certification specifications.
◀ ▶ ◀ ● If your r outer , modem, or device is not certified, it may not connect to the TV via the “Samsung W ireless LAN Adapter .” ● Ensur e the TV is tur ned of f befor e you connect the Samsung W ireless LAN Adapter . ● Connection Methods: Y ou can setup the wir eless network connection on four ways.

If you select Pictur e Of f , the scr een is tur ned of f, but the sound r emains on.
