1 Introduction W elcome to Samson AirLine Synth—the next generation of wir eless systems! Wir eless microphone and instrument syst ems were originally developed t o eliminate cables, providing unparalleled fr eedom of movement.
If you’ ve had some prior experience using wireless syst ems, these QuickStart instructions will get you up and running with your AirLine Synth UHF guitar sy stem in a matter of minutes! Detailed in.
QuickStar t 7. Now to set the channel, press and hold the EDIT control until the displa y shows the Group number with three ast erisks. Next, the AR300 will automatically find the clearest channel and you will see it in the Channel number of the display just befor e the IR SET will begin.
1. Antennas ( A and B) - The antenna mountings allow full r otation for optimum placement. In normal operation, both Antenna A (the ant enna on the left) and Antenna B (the antenna on the right) should be placed in a vertical position. Both antennas can be folded in ward f or convenienc e when transpor ting the AR300.
6: EDIT Contr ol – This rotary encoder control knob/switch is used to contr ol and set several menu functions and parameters display ed in the L CD display and it is also used to pref orm the automatic Channel Scan. 7: Po wer Swit ch - Use this to turn the AR300 power on and off .

1: ¼-inch Phone Plug - I nser t this standard 1/4” plug into your electric guitar or electric bass. Note that the angling of the plug can be configured f or F ender Stratocaster™-type rec essed jacks, and in a second position designed to be used with all other instruments that hav e end mount-jacks.

The basic procedur e for setting up and using your AirLine S ynth system takes only a few minutes: 1. Remove all packing materials (save them in case of need f or future service) and check to make sure that the supplied po wer adapter is the correct voltage f or your country.
6. Make the physical cable connection between the AR300 output jack and an audio input of your amplifier or mix er . Lea ve your amplifier or mix er off at this time. 7. T urn the Level knob on the AR300 completely counter clockwise, then set its Po wer switch up to turn it on.
13. T emporarily tur n down the level of y our amplifier or mixer and turn off the power to your transmitt er , leaving the AR300 r eceiver on. Then restore the previously set level of your amplifier or mix er . W ith the transmitter off , the receiv er output should be totally silent; if it is, skip ahead to the next step .
AR300 Operation Setting a Group and Channel Manually The AR300 receiv er contains 320 selectable channels for N and U band, and 71 selectable channels for E band. All channels are or ganized into a series of groups . Each group con tains channels that are compatible f or simultaneous use.
AR300 Operation Operating In FREE Mode Y ou can tune in an exac t frequency using the AR300’ s FREE mode. Once you ar e in FREE mode you can change the frequency by 25 kHz steps. F or most situations , it ’ s better to use the GROUP Channel plan but if your application requires an exact frequency , follow these steps to operat e in FREE mode.
