5 n NEVER reach to pick up a workpiece, a piece of scrap, or anything else that is in or near the grinding path of the wheel. n A VOID AWKW ARD OPERA TIONS AND HAND POSI- TIONS where a sudden slip could cause your hand to move into the wheel. AL WA YS make sure you have good balance.

8 SPEED AND WIRING The no-load speed of this tool is approximately 3,600 rpm. This speed is not constant and decreases under a load or with lower voltage. For voltage, the wiring in a shop is as important as the motor’ s horsepower rating. A line intended only for lights cannot pr operly carry a power tool motor .

Begin on one side of the point at the existing angle, then twist the bit while maintaining contact with the grinding surface.
