Fast Forwar d/Fast Re verse Press the or button when a disc is playing. The disc begins fast scan at x2 speed. Four speeds are av ailable. Each time or button is pressed, the speed of fast scan changes in the following sequence: 1. Slow-motion pla y Press the SLO W button on the remote in the play mode.
Angle selection Some D VDs contain scenes which hav e been shot from a number of different angles. For these discs, the same scene can be viewed from each of these different angles. While you are playing a D VD with different angles recorded, press the ANGLE button to vie w the number of the current angle.
DISPLA Y function Using DISPLA Y , you can check and change the current settings of t he following items: ANGLE, A UDIO and SUBTITLE. Title skip The number of the title currently playing and total titles of disc. Press the GOTO button to set your desired title, then press the ENTER butt on to co nfi r m.
Locating a specific title If a D VD disc contains title numbers, you can locate a specific title directly by selecting a title number . Press the GOTO button. Press , or button to highlight a specific field and press the corresponding number button(s) for the title you want.
Angle setting Press the DISPLA Y button twice. The FUNCTION menu is displa yed on the screen and you can see how many angles are recorded on the disc. Press the ANGLE b utton repeatedly to select your desired angle. The unit will change to y our desired angle in a f ew seconds.
Programmab le memory The two types of programmed playbac k provided by this unit are title programmed playback and chapter programmed playback. Title / Chapter programmed pla yback Press the MEMOR Y button while the disc is stopped. Ent er the t itl e nu mbe rs i n .

This unit will play MP3 and Picture files recorded on CD-R and CD-RW discs. T o skip to the next or pre vious file Press the NEXT button on the remote control or SKIP b u tto n on the fro nt pane l briefly while playing, to skip ahead to the beginning of the next file.
Playing a Picture file disc Open the disc door . Hold a Picture disc by its sides and carefully make it fit onto the central suppor t of compar tment with the printed side facing towards you until you hear a "click". Close the disc door gently .

P an Scan (Normal) When wide-screen video is play ed, this mode clips the r ight and left sides of the image so that it can be viewed on a conv entional screen. Some wide-screen D VDs that do not per mit P an Scan mode playback are automatically play ed in letterbox mode (black bands top and bottom).
