10 11 UNP ACKING This product has been shipped completely assembled. n Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the box. n Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. n Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.

WARNING: The tool’ s driving mechanism may cycle when the tool is first connected to the air supply . Always connect the tool to the air supply before loading nails to prevent injury from unintended cycling.

14 15 OPERA TION DR Y -FIRE LOCKOUT When the magazine is almost empty of staples, the dry-fir e lockout feature will not allow continued operation. T o resume operation, r eload the tool with staples. SETTING THE AIR PRESSURE The amount of air pr essure requir ed will depend on the size of the staple and the workpiece material.
16 17 OPERA TION CLEARING A JAMMED F ASTENER See Figure 10. WARNING: Disconnect the tool fr om the air supply before clearing a jammed fastener . Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury . If a nail or fastener becomes jammed in the tool, disconnect the air hose and keep the tool pointed away fr om you while clearing the jam.
16 17 MAINTENANCE LUBRICA TION �The cylinder , o-ring, and piston ring in this tool ar e lubricated with a suf ficient amount of high grade lubricant for the life of the unit under normal operating conditions. Therefor e, no further lubrication is requir ed.
