1 English C-S eries T ango ™ User Guide Intended Use The ResMed Tango CPAP system is indicated for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) in patients weighing mo re than 30kg (66 lb).
2 Parts of the Tango Your Tango comprises: • ResMed C-Series T ango flo w generator (shown below) • P o wer cord • 2 m (6’6”) air tubing. Masks The ResMed mask systems recommended for use with the Tango are: For information on using m asks, see your mask manual.
3 English The Tango Interface Setting up the Tango ! CAUTION • Be careful to place the device where it cannot be bumped, and where no one will trip over the power cord. • If you put the device on the floor , ma ke sur e the area is free from dust and clear of bedding, cl othes or other objects that could bloc k the air inlet.
4 • Only Re sMed air tubing should b e us ed with the device. A dif ferent type of air tubing may alter the pressure you actually receive and reduce the effec ti veness of your treatment. • Bloc king th e hose and/or air inlet o f the device while in op eration could lead to overheatin g of the device.
5 English Cleaning and Maintenance ! WARNING Beware of electric shock. Do not immerse the flow generator or power cord in water. Always unplug the flow generator before cleaning and make sure it is dry before reconnecting . ! CAUTION • Do not hang the air t ubing in direct sunlight as it m ay harden over time and eventually crac k.
6 Changing the Air Filter ! CAUTION Do not wash th e air filt er. 1 . With the power cord and air t ubing disconnected, turn the T ango upside do wn so the air inlet is facing y ou. The air filter is inside the air inlet. 2. Pull the old air filter out of the air inlet.
