1 1. B ef ore Y ou Star t ... Thank you f or buying a R angemaster cooker . I t should give y ou many years of tr ouble -free cooking if installed and operated corr ectly . It is impor tant that y ou read this section before you start, par ticularly if y ou have not used an induction cooker before .
2 Use dry oven glo ves when applicable – using damp gloves migh t result in steam burns when you touch a hot sur fac e. Do not use a towel or other bulky cloth in place of a glov e – it might catch fire if brought int o contact with a hot sur fac e.

4 ArtNo.313-0003 1 10 Induction hob display � � � � � Make sure that the base of the pan is clean and dry to prevent any residue burning ont o the hob panel. This also helps prevent scr atches and deposits. Always use pans that ar e the same size as (or slightly larger than) the areas marked on the hob .
5 Once the [ A ] is displayed , turn the control knob to the level of your choice (1 to 9). The pan will heat up at 100% po wer for a specified time bef ore the pow er is reduced to the lev el selected.
6 The grill trivet can be turned ov er to give two g r illing positions (Fig .2-9) . F or best results, you should leav e the grill pan in the grill chamber and preheat the appropriat e part(s) of the grill for two minutes. The grill trivet can be r emoved and the f ood placed on it while you ar e waiting for the grill to pr eheat.
7 The Clock Setting the time of day The L CD clock is shown in (Fig 2-13) . When the clock is first connected the display flashes ( 0.00 ) and ( ) alternately . Pr ess and hold both the [ ] and [ ] buttons as shown in Fig .2-14 . While holding these butt ons press either the (–) or (+) until the correct time shows .
8 Ke y Lock When the key lock is activated, the left-hand ov en is locked and will not come on. T o ac tiv ate the key lock Make sure that the clock is in manual mode and cancel an y active programs . Hold the Minute Minder ( ) and Cook time ( ) buttons for about 8 seconds.

12 4. F an Oven C ooking T able The oven contr ol settings and cooking times given in the table below are intended t o be used AS A GU ID E ON L Y . Individual tastes may require the temperature t o be altered to pro vide a preferred result. F ood is cooked at lo wer temperatur e in a fan oven than in a c onventional oven.
13 5. Cleaning Y our C ooker Isolate the electricity supply before carrying out any major cleaning. Allow the c ooker to cool. Never use pain t solvents , washing soda, caustic cleaners, biological powders , bleach, chlorine based bleach cleaners, coarse abr asives or salt.

Grill The grill pan and grid should be washed in hot soapy w ater . After grilling meats or any f oods that soil, leave to soak f or a few minutes immediat ely after use.
15 Removing the P anels to clean the Enamel Interior If you wish to clean the enamel interior of the ov en, you will first need to remov e the shelves and oven panels. The main fanned oven has a r emovable oven roof . Slide the roof liner forwards and remo ve (F ig.
16 6. T roubleshooting Interference with and repairs t o the hob MUST NO T be carried out by unqualified persons. Do not try to repair the hob as this may r esult in injur y and damage to the hob . Please arrange for repair by a suitably competent person.
17 F ood is cooking too slowly , too quickly , or burning Cooking times may differ fr om your previous oven. Check that y ou are using the recommended temperatures and shelf positions – see the o ven cooking guide. Then adjust the settings according to your own individual tastes .
18 7. Installation Dear Installer Before y ou start your installation, please complete the details below , so that, if your customer has a problem r elating to your installation, they will be able to c ontact you easily .

20 Low er the T wo Rear Rollers F irst fit the levelling tool on the hexagonal adjusting nut (Fig .7-5) . Make 10 complete (360º) turns clockwise (Fig .7-6) . ( This means turning and removing the levelling t ool 20 times.) Make sure you low er BOTH REAR ROLLERS.
21 F it the splashback over the inner scr ews and then refit the outer screws (F ig.7.9) . Tighten all screw s to secure . F itting the Handles T o fit the handles, first remove the 4mm Allen scr ews from the doors.
