1 Y our cooker should give y ou many years of trouble-free cooking if installed and operated correctly . It is impor tant that you read this section befor e you start, par ticularly if you have not used a dual fuel cooker bef ore. Impor tant! CAUTION: This appliance is for c ooking purp oses only .

4 ArtNo.31 1-0002 Pan with rim If, when y ou let go of the control knob, the burner goes out, then the FSD has not been bypassed. T urn the control knob to the OFF position and wait for one minut e before you try again, this time making sure to hold in the control knob for slightly longer .
5 ArtNo.31 1-0006 Correct wok sizes The W ok Cradle The wok cradle is desig ned to t a 35 cm wok. If you use a dieren t wok, make sure that it ts the cradle.
6 The Glide -out Grill Open the door and pull the grill pan carriage forward using the handle (Fig . 2.15) . The grill has two elements that allo w either the whole area of the pan to be heated or just the right-hand half . Adjust the heat to suit b y turning the k nob.
7 F an Assisted Oven This function operates the fan, circulating air hea ted by the elements at the top and the base of the o ven. The combination of fan and con ventional cooking (top and base heat) makes this function ideal for cooking large items that need thor ough cook ing, such as a lar ge meat roast.
8 Large items , such as whole chickens and joints should not be defrosted in this wa y. We r ecommend this be carried out in a refrigerator . Defrosting should not be carried out in a warm oven or when an adjoining oven is in use or still warm. Make sure that dairy foods, meat and poultry are completely defrosted bef ore cooking.

11 T o Start and Stop the Multifunc tion Oven The Multifunction Oven allows you to automa tically star t and stop by a combination of the length of the c ook ing time and the stop time. Giving y ou the exibilty to cook casseroles etc while you are out.

17 Ovens ‘ Cook & Clean ’ Panels The main oven has panels which ha ve been coated with a special enamel that partly cleans itself. This does not stop all marks on the lining, but helps to r educe the amount of manual cleaning needed. The ‘Cook & Clean ’ panels work better above 200 °C.
18 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5.1) are available from supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approved f or use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
