1 This User Guide c overs a number of dier ent models. Although some of the illustra tions will look dierent to your particular model the functions will b e the same. We hope the meaning is clear . Y our cooker should giv e you many years of trouble-free cooking if installed and operated correctly .
2 DO NO T use a steam cleaner on your cook er . Always be c er tain that the controls are in the OFF position when the oven is not in use , and before attempting to clean the cooker . When the ov ens are on, DO NOT open the doors for longer than necessary to insert and remove conten ts.

4 ArtNo.31 1-0002 Pan with rim The igniter should spark and light the gas . Keep holding the knob pressed in to let the gas through to the burner for about ten seconds. If, when y ou let go of the control knob, the burner goes out, then the FSD has not been bypassed.
5 The W ok Cradle (optional) The wok cradle is desig ned to t a 35 cm wok. If you use a dieren t wok, make sure that it ts the cradle. W oks var y very widely in size and shape. It is important that the wok sits down on the pan support – however , if the wok is too small, the cradle will not support it properly (Fig.
6 The Grill / Glide -out Grill CAUTION: This appliance is for c ooking purp oses only . I t must not be used for other purposes, for example room hea ting. CAUTION: A ccessible parts may be hot when the grill is in use. Y oung children should be kept aw ay .
7 The Ov ens The clock must be set to the time of day bef ore the right- hand oven will w ork. See the following section on ‘ The Clock’ for instructions on setting the time of day . References to ‘ left-hand’ and ‘right-hand’ ovens apply as viewed from the front of the appliance .
8 The 2-butt on L CD Clock Y ou can use the clock to turn the left-hand oven on and o . The clock must be set to the time of day bef ore the oven will work. Setting the Clock The 2-button L CD clock can only display a 24 hour clock . The Multifunction O ven on the left will not operate unless the clock has been set.
9 T o Stop the Multifunction Oven at a Specific T ime of Day Y ou have set the r equired temperature and function mode for the Multifunction O ven and you w ould like the Multifunc tion Oven to automatically stop . T OP TIP Make a note of the current time so you do not f orget.
10 Reset to Manual C ooking T o cancel any automa tic settings turn the Timer (A ) knob to the Clock (C) setting and release (F ig. 2.32) . K ey Lock The Ke y Lock will activate and deactivate the left-hand oven. The right-hand tall ov en can be operated as usual.

17 C ontrol P anel and Doors Av oid using any abrasive cleaners , including cream cleaners. F or best results, use a liquid detergen t. The same cleaner can also be used on the doors, or alternatively , using a sof t cloth wrung out in clean hot soapy water .
18 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5.1) are available from supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approved f or use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
19 Hotplate ignition or hotplat e burners faulty Is the power on? Is the clock illuminat ed? If not, there maybe something wrong with the po wer supply . Are the sparker (ignition electrode) or burner slots blocked by debris? Are the burner trim and caps correctly located? See the section on ‘Cleaning’ .
20 An ov en light is not working The bulb has probably burnt out. Y ou can buy a replacement bulb (which is not c overed under the warranty) from a good electrical shop. Ask f or a 15 W – 230 V lamp, FOR OVENS. It must be a special bulb, heat resistant to 300 °C (Fig .
