8 Multifunction O ven F unc tions Rapid Response (Classic Delux e only) The Rapid Response setting enables you to preheat the oven faster than normal . It uses the fan oven element with additional heat from one of the elements in the top of the ov en.

17 Isolate the electricity supply before carrying out any major cleaning. Then allow the cooker to cool . NEVER use paint solvents , washing soda, caustic cleaners, biological powders , bleach, chlorine based bleach cleaners, coarse abr asives or salt.
18 Grills The grill pan and trivet should be washed in hot soap y water . After grilling meats or any f oods that soil, leav e to soak for a few minutes immediat ely after use. Stubborn par ticles may be remov ed from the trivet using a nylon brush. Alt ernatively , the grill pan can be washed in a dishwasher .

20 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5.1) are available from supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approv ed for use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
21 Interference with and repairs to the hob MUST NO T be carried out by unqualied persons. Do not try to repair the hob as this ma y result in injury and damage to the hob .
22 The ov en light is not working The bulb has probably blown. Y ou can buy a replacement bulb (which is not c overed under the guarantee) fr om most elec trical stores . Ask for an Edison screw tting 15 W 230 V lamp , FOR OVENS (Fig . 6.1) . I t must be a special bulb, hea t resistant to 300 °C.
