1 Y our cooker should give you many y ears of trouble -free cooking if installed and operated correctly . It is impor tant that you read this section befor e you star t, particularly if you have not used a dual fuel cooker bef ore. Impor tant! CAUTION: T his appliance is for cooking purposes only .
2 Ac cessible par ts will become hot during use and will retain heat ev en af ter you ha ve stopped cooking. Keep babies and childr en away from the c o oker and never w ear loose -tting or hanging clothes when using the appliance .
3 The 100 dual fuel cooker (F ig. 2.1) has the following f eatures: A. 5 hotplate burners including a wok burner B. Control panel C. Glide -out grill D. Main multi-function oven E. T all fan ov en Hotplat e Burners The drawing b y each of the central knobs indicates which burner that knob controls.
4 ArtNo.31 1-0002 Pan with rim If, when y ou let go of the control knob, the burner goes out, then the FSD has not been bypassed. T urn the control knob to the OFF position and wait for one minut e before you try again, this time making sure to hold in the control knob for slightly longer .
5 ArtNo.31 1-0006 Correct wok sizes The W ok Cradle The wok cradle is desig ned to t a 35 cm w ok . If you use a dieren t wok , make sure that it ts the cradle .
6 The Glide -out Grill Open the door and pull the grill pan carriage forward using the handle (Fig . 2.15) . The grill has two elements that allo w either the whole area of the pan to be heated or just the right-hand half . Adjust the heat to suit b y turning the k nob.
7 F an Assisted Oven This function operates the fan, circulating air hea ted by the elements at the top and the base of the o ven. The combination of fan and con ventional cooking (top and base heat) makes this function ideal for cooking large items that need thor ough cook ing, such as a large meat roast.
8 Large items , such as whole chickens and joints should not be defrosted in this wa y. W e recommend this be carried out in a refrigerator . Defrosting should not be carried out in a warm oven or when an adjoining oven is in use or still warm. Make sure that dairy foods, meat and poultry are completely defrosted bef ore cooking.

17 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5.1) are available fr om supermar kets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approved f or use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
