1 This User Guide c overs a number of dier ent models. Although some of the illustra tions will look dierent to your particular model the functions will b e the same. We hope the meaning is clear . Thank you f or buying this cooker . It should give you many years of trouble-free cooking if installed and operated correctly .
2 Always be c er tain that the controls are in the OFF position when the oven is not in use , and before attempting to clean the cooker . When the ov en is on, DO NOT lea ve the oven door open for longer than necessary – otherwise, the control knobs ma y become very hot.

6 The Grill CAUTION: This appliance is for c ooking purp oses only . It must not be used for other purposes, for example room hea ting. CAUTION: A ccessible parts may be hot when the grill is in use. Y oung children should be kept aw ay .
7 The Ov ens The clock must be set to the time of day bef ore the ovens will work. See the follo wing sec tion on ‘The Clo ck’ for instructions on setting the time of day . References to ‘ left-hand’ and ‘right-hand’ ovens apply as viewed from the front of the appliance .
8 Should further browning be necessar y , uncover the mea t and increase the tempera ture to gas mark 4 for a short period. Cut root v egetables into small pieces unless cooking whole, e.g . jacket potatoes. Cov er dishes tightly with a lid or foil to prev ent evaporation and transfer of a vour .

T ips on C ook ing with the T imer If you want to cook mor e than one dish, choose dishes that require appr oximately the same cooking time. How ever , dishes can be ‘slow ed down ’ slightly by us.

16 Ovens Cleaning is easier if carried out while the oven is still warm. Before cleaning , cover the burner to prev ent the burner holes becoming blocked. The inside of the oven and inner door panel can be cleaned using an approv ed cleaner ( T able 5-1) .
17 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5.1) are av ailable from supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approved f or use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
18 What cleaning mat erials are recommended for the cooker? See the ‘Cleaning’ section for r ecommended cleaning materials. Never use caustic or abr asive cleaners as these will damage the sur face .
