15 REDUC ING NOISE Because y our CB is exceptionally quiet , any noise you hea r is probably from an ex ternal source in your v ehi- cle — the ignition, an other radio, spark plugs, and so forth. You ca n determi ne the s ource o f the noise by turning off the engine and operating th e CB with the igni ti on set to ACC.
