4 INSTALLATION Selecting a Location You can place the phone on a desktop, shelf, or table. Select a location that is: • near an easily accessib le AC outlet • near a telephone line jack • out of.
5 Plug the modular cord’s other end into a modular phon e line jack. Plug the supplied AC adapter’s barrel plug into the DC 12V 200mA jack on the back of the base. Plug the adapter into a standard AC outlet. Connecting, Charging, And Replacing The Battery Pack The phone comes with a rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery pack.

Put on the headset, and adjust the band until it rests with almost no pressure on your ear a nd the top of your head. If the headset is loose, remove it and gently push the headset ba nd inward slightly to tighten it.
